This is the 200th post to my blog. Yay! If my blog were a football player, I’d have made a big paper banner for it to run through… Alas.. All the same, I’m very pleased to see the old Polliweb still going on after more than 3 years…
Last Sunday represented 2 years since Olivia and I first arrived in London – can you believe it? Time has gone so quickly. I think we’re making a good fist of our time over here. Getting in some good work experience, travelling when we can (So far, between us we’ve been to: Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Norway, Morocco [report still to come], Austria, Andorra, Slovenia, Belgium, Scotland – and does Monaco count as a separate entry?) and generally having a good time of it all. Can’t complain really… The interesting thing about that long list of countries is that it makes me realise how many MORE places we still need to visit. Frightening really.
Am off to Taiwan for work next week. As fate would have it, my sister Karen will be passing through Hong Kong on her way to Europe – just as I’m passing through HK on my way to Taiwan. I’ve rejigged my flights so that we can spend a couple of days there. FANTASTIC – I really can’t wait. We’re catching up with some friends (old and new), doing the sights and Karen’s keen to get some shopping in – so it should be a great weekend.
A Christmas visit to Melbourne is very much on the cards.
